New season begins Sunday at Williams Grove Speedway

MECHANICSBURG — Williams Grove Speedway will open the 2026 racing season Sunday afternoon, March 22 at 2 p.m. with an afternoon program of Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint car racing. Hoosier will present Opening Day 2026 with $6,000 up for grabs by the sprint car drivers in the 25-lap feature as part of the Pa Posse 410 Sprint Series. Lions baseball game moved to 3:30 today

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State baseball has moved up its series opener against Iowa on Friday, March 13 to 3:30 p.m. at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The game was originally scheduled for 5:30 p.m. but has been moved up to avoid weather concerns. Saturday’s game is still slated for 2 p.m. and Sunday is still scheduled for 1 p.m. All games this weekend will be broadcast on B1G+. All games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park are free admission for all ages.
