UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State swimming and diving head coach Hollie Bonewit-Cron has hired Mike Smiechowski as Associate Head Coach. Smiechowski served as head coach at St. Bonaventure from 2022-26. He helped the women’s team to tie its highest team finish at the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships since 2017-18 and guided the Atlantic 10’s only program (men or women) to improve its team score four consecutive years at the A-10 championships. Spikes name Petrazzolo their general manager

The State College Spikes announced the promotion of Dan Petrazzolo to General Manager and the hiring of Jonathan Runkle as Director of Sales, effective immediately. Petrazzolo has been the Spikes’ Assistant General Manager since 2015 and the operations head at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park since Feburary of 2007. A native of New Jersey, Dan worked as Director of Operations with the Atlantic City Surf in the then-independent Atlantic League before joining the Spikes. But, it was the most important win of the year. The victory clinched the 2026 Mifflin County Babe Ruth championship. Usually, Beaver Springs (16-2) wins on pitching and defense.
