Lions open 140th season versus Marshall

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State Football has announced that its 2026 season and home opener against Marshall, on Sept. 5, will be designated as the Stripe Out game. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on FS1. In one month, Penn State will open its 140th football season and 67th season in West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. Tickets can be purchased here. Tight end Ted Kwalick (1960s), linebacker Shane Conlan (1980s), offensive lineman Sean Farrell (1980s), linebacker LaVar Arrington (1990s) and running back Saquon Barkley (2010s) were all tabbed to the All-Decade teams. ERIE, Pa. – The Erie SeaWolves scored ten unanswered runs and earned a 10-7 win over the Curve on Wednesday afternoon at UPMC Park.
