UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Freshman phenom Gavin McKenna (Whitehorse, Yukon) was added to the roster for Team Canada ahead of the 2026 IIHF World Championship set to take place in Zurich and Fribourg, Switzerland from May 15-31. CURVE, Pa.– Altoona battled the Richmond Flying Squirrels into the 11th inning, but dropped an 18-6 decision on Thursday afternoon at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Altoona held a 4-2 lead after seven innings but couldn’t close out the victory despite scoring the game-tying run in both the ninth and tenth innings. Penn State travels to Oregon for Big Tens

NORTH PLAINS, Oregon – The Penn State men's golf team travels to the Big Ten Championships this weekend at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Oregon. This marks the first time the championships will be held in Oregon after taking place in Baltimore last year. The Nittany Lions finished 16th last year led by then-senior Jake Griffin and Alex Creamean who each finished the week 8-over, 218, and in a tie for 32nd. The game will be made up with a doubleheader, consisting of a pair of 7-inning games, on Friday beginning at 5 p.m. Fans holding tickets to tonight's game may exchange them for another game during the 2026 season, for a ticket of equal or lesser value based on availability.
