Understanding how fish can perceive an angler’s lure

SCRANTON (AP) —As soon as the loop flashes into your peripheral vision, you know you may have just stumbled into perfection. The hum of the line racing through the guides sends a vibration down the pole and through your arms that electrifies every vain in your body right down to your toes. Videos of eagle family getting more views during pandemic

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Outside Kirby Wynn’s home in Glenwood Springs, a bald eagle battles a pair of ravens mid-flight for the prized and still dripping-wet trout clutched in the majestic raptor’s talons. "My favorite part about hunting is family time," Shaw told The Alpena News. "Before I was old enough to actually hunt, I remember hanging out with ...

With a notary public standing 6 feet away, a flurry of signatures transferred southern Colorado’s 30 square-mile Fishers Peak to the state of Colorado. The undeveloped, wildlife-rich parcel is set to become Colorado’s 42nd state park. But while the acquisition is complete — the deal was formally announced earlier this month— funding for the development of the park remains in limbo as ...
