CHAMBERSBURG — Wilson College is pleased to announce that Sadie Fike of McClure is one of 72 student-athletes named a United East Scholar Athlete by the Division III United East Conference for the Winter and Spring 2026 seasons. The Phoenix had 72 student-athletes received academic accolades across the spring semester to bring the full year total to 129 across 11 sports. Huskies battle at Colonial Country Club

HARRISBURG — Mifflin County golf competed Monday at Colonial Country Club, the home of Bishop McDevitt. Mifflin County went 1-5 and beat Milton Hershey, but lost to Palmyra, Mechanicsburg, Cedar Cliff, Red Land and Bishop McDevitt. The Huskies were led by Evan Breon, who shot a season-low score of 74 to finish second on the day. Caleb Bubb posted a 90, Chase Krepps had a 96 and Jude Zook rounded out the scoring with a 97. The teams will make up the rained-out game on Thursday, September 10 at PNG Field when the ‘Ducks return for the final week of the regular season. The doubleheader is slated to start at 4:30 p.m. with a pair of seven-inning games. Fans holding tickets to Sunday’s game may exchange them for another game this season based on availability.
