MCALISTERVILLE — Julian Flores de Valgez scored his 100th goal as Juniata Christian bulldozed Grace Prep during Friday’s boys soccer action, 7-1.
First-half goals came from JCS’s Noah Stong and Flores de Valgez. Flores de Valgez scored from an assist by Charlie Donovan.
Second-half goals came from Grace Prep’s Jack Zerby and JCS’s Flores de Valgez (two goals).
Jesse Spade scored from an assist by Charlie Donovan and Jordan Lara scored from an assist by Donovan, too.
JCS outshot Prep, 21-13.
JCS’s Connor Leitzel tallied nine saves and Prep posted eight.
JCS had nine corners and Prep had two.
JCS’s overall record is 8-0 and their next game is today versus EJ.

Greenwood drops Juniata, 4-1
Greenwood boys soccer beat Juniata on Thursday, 4-1.
Greenwood scored all their goals in the first half.
Landon Beward scored off an assist from Josue Osorio at the 34:30 mark in the opening half.
Greenwood had seven shots on goal as the Indians posted five.
Greenwood had more corners, 5-2.
Nolan Imes tallied six saves for Juniata as Greenwood had four.

Eagles tame Tigers, 3-2
Line Mountain topped East Juniata on Thursday, 3-2.
For EJ, Acea Spade and Aubrie Price each scored a goal.
For the Eagles, Jenna Foulds, Milena Mariano and Emme Shingara each scored.
VOLLEYBALL
Tigers best Sugar Valley, 3-1
East Juniata volleyball beat Sugar Valley, 25-21, 16-25, 25-13, 25-21.
For EJ, Kylee Burd had three points, Kaelyn Walter added 10 points and Brooklyn Devinney added nine digs with 14 points.
Madyson Freed tallied five digs and Hayley Cramer tacked on 16 points.
Mazie Neimond added five digs, two assists and eight points.
Cougars sweep Huskies, 3-0
LEWISTOWN — Mifflin County hosted the Cougars from Palmyra on Thursday and fell short, 25-15, 25-22, 25-22.
Varsity Huskies fought hard but lost in three, 15-25, 22-25 and 22-25. Defensively the group was led by Rylie Kahley with 16 digs while Addyson Marks contributed 12 and Lily Curry added nine. Leah Hartzler led the team with three blocks. Offensively the group was led by Grayce Napikoski with 11 kills and Kate Hartzler with seven while Lily Curry dished out 18 assists. Addyson Marks added three aces in the effort while Lily Curry, Jensyn Taylor and Leah Hartzler each added two.
JV Huskies won in two with scores of 25-8 ad 25-9. Offensively the group was led by Jovi Bush with a team-high eight kills while Janessa Collins added four. Sarah Hartsock dished out 17 assists to go with a team-high four aces. Emma Hartzler added three aces, while Geneva Kelly, Janessa Collins, Ayden Long and Jovi Bush each added two. Briah Moore had four digs while Sarah Hartsock added three.
Varsity Huskies will travel to St. Francis University on Saturday for a tournament, and then the team is on the road next Tuesday to take on Milton Hershey.
FIELD HOCKEY
Mustangs blank Seals, 1-0
Veyda Trego scored off an assist from Maesyn Franquet as Midd-West beat Selinsgrove on Thursday, 1-0.
Trego scored at the 9:31 mark in the fourth period to lead Midd-West.
The Seals outshot Midd-West, 5-4. Midd-West had more saves, 5-3.
The Mustangs are now 4-2 (2-0 Heartland).
