SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS: Red Land is coming off a 14-2 loss to Mechanicsburg. The Patriots were held to 42 rushing yards and turned the ball over 4 times. Red Land managed a mere safety in the second quarter, trailing 7-2 at halftime. Mechanicsburg's Luke Reider rushed for one score and targeted Xavier Longenberger for another, hoisting the Wildcats to the victory.
SCOUTING THE HUSKIES: Noah Wolfkiel went 14 of 25 passing for 235 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT. His favorite target was Lucas Hartung with 6 catches for 150 yards and 1 TD. Jaxon Strohecker led Mifflin County on the ground with 11 carries for 28 yards and 1 TD. Zyhair Hill added 27 rushing yards. Landon Bowen racked up 119 on KRs. Defensively, Brayan Aurand was a stalwart with 16 tackles and Jaren Kenny added 12 tackles. Kenny, Nate Lindley and Jake Knable each had tackles for loss, while Lindley also notched a sack.

SCOUTING THE BLACKHAWKS: Kalen Fleisher went 3 for 8 for Susquenita for 72 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs. Julian Boyer ran for a team-best 45 yards on seven carries. WR Hunter Mitchell finished with 5 catches for 51 yards. The Blackhawks were dominated in almost every category in their 44-7 loss to West Perry: Total plays (61-49), First downs (19-11), Penalties (12-8), Penalty yards (137-70) and Possession Time (29:30 to 15:30).
SCOUTING THE INDIANS: Jason Condo connected on 3 of 7 attempts for 79 yards but he lost 14 yards on 4 carries on the ground. Ty Rowles was the Indians' top ground-gainer with 14 yards. Juniata netted 3 yards on 24 carries. Colton Hutchinson had 3 carries, including the one for a TD. Juniata reached 100 yards in KR as Zachariah Burkins had a 73-yard KR, while Rowles added 15 on another and Leland Swetnam a 12. Defensively, Zakary Blessing registered a team-high 8 tackles, while Chase O'Neill and Quentin Houtz each had 7. Houtz had 3 sacks and Cale Fike added 1 more.

SCOUTING THE TROJANS: Mount Union is coming off a 48-14 whopping of Curwensville. The game was tied at 14-14 at the half until the Trojans scored 34 unanswered points in the second half. Maddox Hobbs threw 4 of 8 passes for 72 yards. Hobbs threw two to Nasir Collins for 50 yards, including a long of 42 yards, and two to Hussan Posey for 22 yards. Collins carried the ball 10 times for 148 yards, including a long of 70, and 4 TDs. Hobbs also ran 4 times for 93 yards as the Trojans rolled up 326 yards rushing on 27 carries. Defensively, Hobbs led Mount Union with 21 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss, Levi Hunsinger added 17 tackles and Brayden Richards added 12, including a TFL.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: Claysburg-Kimmel is coming off a 34-13 loss at West Branch. Gavin Treon went 9 of 19 for 139 yards and 1 INT. He was also the Bulldogs' leading rusher with 11 carries, 65 yards and 2 TDs. Trevor Brown was the top receiver with 3 catches for 65 yards. Defensively, Bransen Weyant and Dustin Slowik led the Bulldogs with 10 tackles, while Jacob Freeman added 9. Weston Benton recorded a sack. C-K trailed 14-0 at the half and could never close the gap.

SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS: Midd-West is coming off a 42-7 setback at Warrior Run. The Mustangs went to the air as Witten Carter connected on 18 of 39 passes for 247 yards for 1 TD and 1 INT. D'Angelo Drumheller was his favorite target with 10 catches for 119 yards and Konnor Kullman added 3 receptions for 80 yards and 1 TD. Noah Kratzer was the Mustangs' top rusher with 15 yards. Defensively, Jared Devine had 6 tackles, including 1 tackle for loss, Aiden Rose added 5 tackles. Midd-West's Mason Fultz and Cayleb Sobczyk each recovered fumbles.
SCOUTING THE LANCERS: Loyalsock picked up its second win of the season as the Lancers overwhelmed Wellsboro, 35-7. Loyalsock led 20-0 after the first quarter, 27-0 at halftime and never looked back. Dyson Dupont was an efficient 11 of 16 passing for 109 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. Led by Ivan Baker's 137-yard and 2-TD effort, Loyalsock unleashed a stable of 9 rushers who ran 42 times for 248 yards and 4 TDs. Carter Brown was the top receiver with 6 catches for 60 yards and 1 TD. Defensively, Cooper Cowden made 11 tackles, including 1 tackle for loss, while John Day had 2 sacks.
