Here are some more facts and figures from the
Babe Ruth tournament trail.
Talk about being on a roll. The last two years, Denny Yetter, the McVeytown manager and recent coach of the Mifflin County 15-16-year-old All-Stars, has been rolling along at a record pace.
Over the last two years, Yetter has managed teams to a league title, a Mid-Atlantic regional title, a Mid-Atlantic regional runner-up, a national runner-up and a third-place finish in International play. His record over the last two years was 41-19.

The World Series was full of new opponents (regions or states) that Mifflin County has played against. Six of the seven opponents were new and they included Southern Florida, Arizona, Central California, Great Britain, Columbia and Europe. That gives Mifflin County 148 Pennsylvania leagues, host of Mid-Atlantics or World Series, states or different regions that
the local All-Stars have gone up against. Eagle Pass, Texas is located in Eastern Texas and Mifflin County played an opponent in the 2021 15-year-old World Series from East Texas, Del Rio and won, 19-1.

Mifflin County now has a World Series record of 26-14. It has the second-most wins for a Pennsylvania league. West End of Williamsport has a 28-15 record, while Broomall-Newtown is 26-19.

And speaking of Broomall-Newtown. It went 4-2 in the 14-year-old World Series in Eagle Pass, Texas. The two Pennsylvania teams were a combined 10-3. Pennsylvania's record in the Babe Ruth World Series is now 120-85.

The Mifflin County regular season opened on April 27. The last 15-16-year-old All-Star game was on August 15, 110 days. That matched the 2021 season for 110 days. The longest season was 2002, 125 days from April 20 to August 22.

Mifflin County's record in August is now 86-69. The other two months are July 670-300 and June 39-5.

The three All-Star teams (13, 14, 15-16) for Mifflin County this season went 12-7. The winning record snapped a two-year losing streak. Mifflin County now has 56 winning seasons out of the last 58 years. Mifflin County's overall record from 1955-2026
