Kennedy named TVL MVP

Area athletes have had plenty to be proud of this spring and that continued this week as Juniata and East Juniata baseball/softball players made the Tri-Valley League All-Star teams this year. Let’s take a look at who made the all-star squads.
EJ senior Kelton Bonnell made the TVL baseball first team and Juniata senior Daylyn Kennedy also made the list.
Kennedy was named MVP of the league. The senior tallied a.426 batting average and 20 hits. He also scored 20 runs.
Kennedy had 63 strikeouts as a pitcher, three wins and a WHIP of 1.356.
In TVL softball, EJ senior Madison Snyder made the first team. Juniata seniors Kalynn Brown and Sophia Smith made the second team.
Susquenita senior Braelyn Prinz earned MVP honors. She was also a unanimous choice for the first team.
