Pennian Bank reopens Fermanagh office following transformation

MIFFLINTOWN – Pennian Bank has reopened its Fermanagh office, located at 50 Stop Plaza in Mifflintown, following a brief closure for a full interior renovation.

Originally opened in June 1988, the Fermanagh office was one of Pennian Bank’s first locations in Juniata County when the institution was known as First National Bank of Mifflintown. Today, it continues to serve as one of the bank’s busiest offices.

The renovation reflects Pennian Bank’s commitment to community partnership, with special care taken to utilize local vendors throughout the project. Notably, mountain stone sourced from Juniata County was incorporated into a new feature wall inside the office.

“While it’s never easy to close an office, even temporarily, this location was ready for a transformation,” said Scott Fritz, President and CEO of Pennian Bank. “We’re especially proud to have partnered with local vendors and used locally sourced materials as part of the renovation.”

The Fermanagh office officially resumed full lobby and drive-through services on March 23. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on April 9 in partnership with the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the reopening.

Pennian Bank invites customers and community members to visit the newly renovated location and experience the transformation firsthand.

Starting at $2.99/week.
