LEWISTOWN -- Mifflin County girls lacrosse dropped their third straight contest to open the season as they were defeated by Chambersburg on Wednesday, 24-0.
Huskies coach Robert Nulton said, "I ask the girls to do 1% better every time we are on this field... They do what I ask them to do. They have really improved since the first game of the season, and they have improved their defense greatly."
The Trojans move to 2-2 on the season and now have two victories where they've scored more than 20 points.
The Huskies will travel to Cedar Cliff today at 3:45 p.m. They'll also head to State College on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
The Trojans host State College today at 5:30.
Last year, Chambersburg swept the Huskies in two meetings.

Trojans storm past Tigers, 18-1
COCOLAMUS -- Upper Dauphin (1-0) got 13 runs in the second inning and rolled by East Juniata (0-1) on Wednesday, 18-1, in three innings.
Tyler Minier and Hunter Grassmyer each had three RBIs for UDA. Karson Engle, Landen Osenga and Minier each scored three times.
EJ had one hit and four errors as UDA posted 10 hits with zero miscues.
Next, EJ visits Susquenita on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
