Midd-West tops Neumann, 47-42
MIDDLEBURG -- Midd-West girls hoops beat Neumann on Tuesday, 47-42.
Izzy Walter dropped 23 points and Emma Wagner had 14 points for the Mustangs.
Midd-West made four threes.
Kaydence Meixej and Kailee Johnson each had 10 points for the visitors. Bre Nixon added nine.
Midd-West (3-18) has been eliminated from playoff contention.
Penns Valley dodges Juniata 45-42
MIFFLINTOWN -- Penns Valley nudged Juniata on Tuesday, 45-42, in girls hoops.
For the Indians (14-8), Lindsea Gilson had 15 points and Mylee Landis added 10. Aubryn Deihl had eight points. Sara Montoya added five points.
Juniata made two threes in the ballgame.
For Penns, Paige Johnson had 14 points and so did Ellie Romig. Sydnie Dalton added six points.
The Rams made four treys in the contest.
Juniata awaits the district playoffs.
