BELLEVILLE -- Belleville Christian boys hoops beat Newport Monday, 69-38.
BCS (9-11) got 17 points from Grant Yoder and a dozen from Collin Hartzler. Bryson Peachey tacked on 10 and Devin Yoder added nine points.
John Mayeresky posted 14 Newport points and Landon Cigic added seven.
BCS plays Grace Prep today.

BELLEVILLE -- Belleville Christian girls hoops lost to Newport, 43-34, on Monday night.
BCS (5-19, 4-6 ACAA) got 12 points from Izzy Weaver and 10 points from Katelyn Renno.
Hailey Zook added nine points for the Thunder.
Newport had two players score in double figures.
