Huskies top Raiders, 50-46

BELLEFONTE — Mifflin County boys basketball erased a 12-point deficit in the first quarter to get their sixth win in a row and defeated Bellefonte on Wednesday, 50-46.

The Huskies had three players in double figures, with juniors Luke Bender, Zach Keller and Bryce Hartsock each having 10 points.

Junior Carson Franklin was the “Dawg of the Game”, making some key defensive plays to help the Huskies get the win.

The varsity Huskies move to 12-10 with the win, clinching the first winning season in over 12 years. The Huskies advance to the postseason with the schedule still TBD.

The JV Huskies concluded their season with a strong 48-30 win.

Freshman Luke Warfel led the way with 16 points as the JV Huskies ended the season 12-9.
