LEWISTOWN — Mifflin County earned their eighth wrestling win of the season as they topped Cumberland Valley (4-8) on Thursday night, 54-18.

Husky Andrew Alexander, at 121, got a 15-0 tech fall win over Mukhammadamin Kakharov at the four-minute mark.

At 127, Reece Fisher also notched a 20-5 tech win over Eagle Wyatt Kitzmiller.

Brayan Aurand pinned Eagle Andrew Alderman during the 172-pound bout.

Reese Christine pinned Eagle Jacob Hartzell at 1:22 during the 215-pound bout.

At 285, Dekker Pietzsch pinned Eagle William Barrett at the 3:50 mark.

At 114, Husky Colton Leister earned a 12-3 major decision over Isaac Peiffer.

The Huskies have won six of their last seven matches.

Next, the Huskies (8-5) go to the Ultimate Warrior Tournament today and Saturday.
