MIFFLINTOWN — Line Mountain (10-2, 4-0 TVL) got a big road victory as they topped Juniata wrestling on Wednesday night, 48-21.

At 133, Eagle Brock Rothermel pinned Easton Matthews at the 48-second mark.

Ryder Smith, at 152, got a pinfall against Eagle Waylon Shaffer at 3:03.

At 285, Juniata’s Kelton Bonnell earned a 5-1 decision against Jacob Schwalm.

At 160, Dalton Schadel pinned Juniata’s Ty Rowles in 42 seconds.

Juniata’s Ty Fahnestock pinned Jordan Shingara at 2:31 during the 145 bout.

Cody Mirarchi pinned Juniata’s Cody Nipple during the 139-pound bout.

Next, Juniata (3-15, 0-4 TVL) goes to Upper Dauphin next Wednesday. Then, the Indians head to West Branch for the Ultimate Warrior Tournament on Jan. 23 and 24.

HERSHEY — Milton Hershey girls basketball beat Mifflin County on Tuesday, 58-45.

For the Lady Huskies (7-6), Mackenzie Peachey and Jayda Kanagy scored 13 points each.

In JV action, the Huskies topped Milton Hershey, 49-20.

Madison Peachey tallied 14 points and Lily Curry added 13.

The Huskies host Red Land on Friday.
