DUNCANNON — Susquenita got a 39-34 wrestling victory against Juniata on Wednesday.
At 127, Colton Hefenfinger pinned Juniata’s Zeran Clark at 1:37.
At 139, Anthony Maradiaga pinned Blackhawk Liam Lewis at 2:59.
Juniata’s Cody Nipple, at 145, pinned Brian Funk in 44 seconds.
Colten Rowles got a 20-8 major decision over Susquenita’s Ryland Rudy at 160.
On Monday, Juniata travels to Sugar Valley.
In girls wrestling, the Blackhawks beat Juniata, 35-18.
At 136, Juniata’s Jordana Steffen pinned Jacque Brown at 5:03.
At 124, Juniata’s Madison Bryner pinned Haleigh Rogers in 45 seconds.
In the 130-pound bout, Kaylee Dayhoff got a tech fall (20-4) at 4:20 against Juniata’s Brea Beward.

EJ beats Midd-West, 26-20
COCOLAMUS — Kennedy Seigler-Lewis dropped in 15 points as East Juniata lassoed Midd-West girls basketball on Wednesday, 26-20.
Addison Eby and Makaylyn Peters each recorded four points for EJ (2-1). Seigler-Lewis tallied five threes in the victory.
For the Mustangs, Izzy Walter and Emma Wagner each corralled eight points.
Midd-West (0-1) had a 10-8 halftime lead.
Next, EJ visits Newport on Friday. Midd-West hosts Halifax on Friday.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Spartans dodge Huskies, 61-53
HERSHEY — Mifflin County dropped their first game of the season, falling to Milton Hershey (3-1) boys hoops on Wednesday, 61-53.
It was a tough battle between two of the preseason top three in the Keystone Division that went down to the wire, with the Spartans edging out the Huskies in the Mid-Penn opener for both teams.
Junior Bryce Hartsock led the way for the Huskies with a career-high 14 points. Junior Luke Bender battled foul trouble, but was still able to net 12 points. Junior Carson Franklin was also in double figures with 10 points, his third game of the season in double figures.
The JV Huskies also dropped their first game of the season, falling 52-36. Sophomore Dylan Bonson led the way with nine points and junior Carson Cherry added seven points.
The Huskies fall to 3-1 on the year and welcome Red Land to Lewistown on Friday.

Norry stumps BCS, 41-19
BELLEVILLE — Northumberland Christian (1-3) topped Belleville Christian, 41-19, in girls hoops on Tuesday.
The Thunder (0-1, ACAA 0-1) got seven points from Hailey Zook and six points from Katelyn Renno.
For Norry, Hannah Millett tallied 12 points and Emma Conner added 11. Ava Philips chimed in with eight points.
Next, BCS heads to Walnut Street Christian on Friday.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Wildcats drop Mustangs, 71-49
HALIFAX — Halifax rolled by Midd-West on Tuesday in boys hoops, 71-49.
For the Mustangs (0-2), D’zani Coley had 21 points and Logan Hollenbach added 13 points.
For Halifax (2-1), Josh Zahurak posted 32 points and Coy Petery added nine points. Cody Attivo came down with 10.
Midd-West meets Montoursville on Friday.
