By BY GREG WILLIAMS 3 min read

EWING, N.J. -- The Juniata College Eagles won the coin toss, but it went downhill from there. Running back Joe Visaggio scored on a pair of three-yard first-half touchdown runs and the TCNJ defense limited Juniata to just over 200 yards en route to a dominant 35-0 victory at Lions Stadium on Saturday.

Jordan Morrell and Dean Licari added short TD runs in the second quarter as the Lions held a commanding 28-0 lead at halftime. Alex Dille capped the scoring with a five-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.

Eagles quarterback Ethan Eisenberg went 16 of 28 for 130 yards and one interception. Ivan Foreman was the top ground-gainer for Juniata (2-2) with 35 yards on 10 carries. The Lions (3-0) battered the Juniata defense with 300 yards rushing on 64 attempts.

Midd-West product Carter Sauer was the only one of four local players to take the field. He had one kickoff for 55 yards and one solo tackle in the contest. Juniata High School standout Makih Hunt, Mount Union's Naiym Francis and Midd-West's Parker Boop did not play.

Juniata returns home to host WestConn in its Landmark Conference opener at 1 p.m. Saturday
