MCALISTERVILLE -- Juniata Christian girls soccer topped Mifflin County Christian Academy on Monday, 4-1.
Aurora Weller scored two goals in the home win, moving JCS to 2-3 on the season.
Josie Sieber and Nicole Lara each added a goal for the Lions.
Olivia Parson had the only score for MCCA.
JCS posted two goals per half. JCS outshot the visitors, 20-5.
MCCA had seven saves compared to three for JCS.
This was the Lions' first win since Aug. 22.
BOYS SOCCER
Mustangs down Huskies, 1-0
Mifflin County lost to West Perry on Monday in boys soccer, 1-0.
Perry outshot MC, 4-3. The Huskies had more corners, 4-2. Each team had three saves.
Mifflin County assistant coach Todd Peters said, "This was a well played soccer match by both teams. There were not many chances had by both teams but the ones that happened were dangerous. Defensive lines by both teams prevented forwards slipping in behind by both teams. With 11:23 left in the match, West Perry scored on a corner kick scramble and that unfortunately decided the outcome. Our boys battled all night and it was a good soccer match."
JV Huskies lost, 2-0, to West Perry.
Indians drub WolfPack, 8-3
Juniata beat St. Joe's on Monday, 8-3.
Anthony Maradiaga had five goals for the Indians.
Daniel Lopez posted two goals in the win.
Juniata outshot St. Joe's, 20-6.
Nolan Imes had four Juniata saves.

Audrey Resseguie scored in the opening frame and Kylie Brown scored in the second stanza.
Veyda Trego, Sabrina Fegley and Kinzee Batdorf also scored.

GOLF
Breon leads way for Huskies
Mifflin County girls golf competed Monday at Range End golf course, the home of Northern York.
MC's Lily Breon led the way for the Huskies, shooting a career low score of eight which placed 13th. Emma Norman also shot a career low score of 97, which placed 26th overall out of 49 girls in the field.
"Both girls played the best golf they have played all year, and are getting hot at the right time as the postseason is only a few weeks away," MC coach Aaron Bubb said.
MC girls are back in action Monday at Rich Valley Golf Course, the home of Cumberland Valley.
VOLLEYBALL
UDA beats EJ, 3-0
East Juniata lost to Upper Dauphin in three sets. The scores were 12-25, 10-25, and 17-25.
Melinda Goodling, senior outside, had four digs. Kennedy Seigler-Lewis, senior setter, had five digs.
TENNIS
Polar Bears sink Huskies, 5-0
Maddy Clinard, Ava Kelly and Marcella McKee were defeated by Aubrey Stuckley, Abby Boes and Maddie Delawder, respectively, in singles play.
In doubles play, Emmah Miller and Delaynie Newlen lost to the Bears, 2-0. Gladrielle Leonard and Ellie Hartzler also lost, 2-0.
FIELD HOCKEY
Bishop edges MC, 2-1
The Mifflin County field hockey team traveled to Bishop McDevitt for a Mid-Penn game. The Huskies outshot and outplayed the Crusaders, but were unsuccessful at coming home with the win.
In the first minute of the game, Bailey Neff received a ball from Jayda Kanagy to take the advantage early on. The Crusaders broke through the Huskies press to tie the game with six minutes left in the first quarter.
The second and third quarters were primarily played in the Crusaders defense as the Huskies had several penalty corners and opportunities to score.
During the last three minutes of the fourth quarter, the Huskies had a penalty corner where Alleigh Caruso put a ball in the back of the cage to take the lead for the Huskies. But, the goal was called back by the opposite official, which meant the Huskies lost the advantage. The Huskies were unlucky on scoring in the last couple minutes which took the game into overtime.
During overtime, the Huskies had seven players which included Adalyn Amspacker, Bailey Neff, Jayda Kanagy, Alleigh Caruso, Addie Fultz, Allison Renninger, and Paige Snyder.
A few minutes into the overtime, the Crusaders took a ball down the field and got a shot in the goal to win the game.
The Huskies had 13 offensive penalty corners and 15 shots on goal. The Crusaders had four offensive penalty corners and four shots on goals. Paige Snyder had three saves.
