Indians bulldoze Wildcats, 11-0
MIFFLINTOWN — Juniata flew past Halifax during Wednesday’s girls soccer action, 11-0.
Mylee Landis posted four goals. Sara Montoya and Carolyn Heidenreich each had two goals.
Thea Beward, Camryn Burd and Emerson Freed each lassoed one score.
Heidenreich added four assists. Olivia Mummah and Montoya had two apiece. Freed, Beward and Landis each had one helper.
Juniata goalie Yaa Serwaa had four saves.
Eagles clip Tigers, 2-1
COCOLAMUS — Line Mountain topped East Juniata in girls soccer, 2-1, Wednesday.
Ava Steily and Milena Mariano each scored for the Eagles.
For EJ, Cali Wagner had their lone goal. Landyn Cramer had 16 saves at goalie.
Line Mountain outshot EJ, 14-8.

Tigers squeak by Indians
SHAMOKIN — East Juniata boys soccer nudged Shamokin on Wednesday, 1-0.
Wrett Smith had the lone EJ goal and Cruz Martin added the assist.
EJ goalie Kelton Bonnell had six saves.
EJ travels to Midd-West today at 5:30.

SELINSGROVE — Shikellamy beat Midd-West during golf action Wednesday at Susquehanna Valley Country Club, 180-193.
Shik’s Mason Farrell shot a match-best 38, Lola Herman 47, Lane Brown 47, Grant Ross 48, Hailee Renn 49, Trent Gallo 52.
For the Mustangs, Westin Kuhns posted a 42, Brady Gunkle 50, River Knepp 50, Calvin Beaver 54, Cole Musser 51, Gavin Berkheimer 58.

BOILING SPRINGS — Boiling Springs topped Mifflin County in girls soccer on Tuesday, 4-0.
For the Bubblers, Eva White, Marissa Lenker and Mackenzie Seiber (twice) all scored.
Springs lead in shots, 20-1, and in corners, 4-0.
Liberty Cook had 16 saves for the Huskies.
JV Huskies lost to Springs, 7-0.
The Huskies (1-2, 1-2 Mid-Penn) host Greencastle Antrim today.

For the victors, Jacob Sellers, Alex Trojan and Evan Devine scored.
Midd-West outshot the Wildcats, 19-2.
Mifflinburg tallied 14 saves.
Today, Midd-West (2-0) battles East Juniata.
GOLF
Huskies compete at Mayapple
CARLISLE — Mifflin County girls golf played at Mayapple Golf Course, the home of Boiling Springs.
MC was led on the day by Lily Breon, who shot a season and career low score of 99, which was good enough to place in a tie for 28th place overall.
Emma Norman also competed for the Huskies. She didn’t play her best golf, but the highlight of her day was making a birdie on hole number 9. She finished in a tie for 44th place. There were a total of 54 girls competing in the match, so overall, a solid day for the MC girls.
MC girls are back in action on Monday, at Range End Golf Course, the home of Northern York.
VOLLEYBALL
Juniata holds on to beat Millersburg
MILLERSBURG — Juniata defeated Millersburg, 25-21, 14-25, 26-24, 23-25, 15-12.
Miley Hack had 27 digs and 13 points for the winners. Hannah Graybill added 13 kills.
Maddie Copeland posted 15 assists and Grace Reinhold added 11 digs.
Mariska Whitesel tacked on 11 assists and seven points for the Indians.
