LEWISTOWN -- Josh Snook, President of Mifflin County Cal Ripken League, has released the results of the state tournaments, which were held last weekend.
Two teams made it to the state semifinals, the 10 and under and the 8 and under.
The 8 and under went 2-1-1 and lost in the semifinals, 3-2. Members of the team were, Karter Gieza, Colin Detwiler, Jack Wagner, Karsyn Stein, Kaycen Specht, Ryker Knepp, Shane Hostetler, Wyatt Yoder, Grayson Rhodes, Stetson Bordell, Layton Yoder and Triton Moist. The manager was Andrew Moist.
The 10 and under team also lost in the semifinals as it fell, 4-3, in 10 innings. The 10s went 5-1. Members of the team were Easton Peachey, Easton Trutt, Izik Tate, Garrett Shawver, Jaxson Joyce, Jasper Snook, Zayne Dickson, Jonas Weaver, Paxton Snook, Carter Walker and Evan Sharp. The manager was Aaron Tate.
The 9 and under went 0-3 as did the 12 and under. The 11 and under were 1-3.
