MIDDLEBURG — Midd-West flew by Selinsgrove during Thursday’s softball action, 13-0, in four and a half innings.

Miley Beachel had a hit and two RBIs for the winners with three runs scored. Cali Sauer launched a home run and tallied four RBIs with three runs. Briahna Keister had a hit with two runs. Jayda Dunn scored three times.

Midd-West scored three runs in the first and second inning. They added six more in the fourth frame. Midd-West had eight hits and one error. The Seals had one hit and one error.

In the circle, Beachel pitched five innings, allowed one hit, no runs and four walks. She posted 13 strikeouts.

Midd-West (9-5, 7-2 Heartland) meets Newport on Monday.
