HALIFAX -- Halifax baseball topped Juniata on Friday, 6-3.
Halifax scored two runs in the second and fourth frames. They added one run in the first and third innings.
Carson Kepner, Gage Harlon and Calvin Decker each posted one RBI for Juniata (3-2-1).
Juniata had six hits including a double from Daylyn Kennedy.
Bryce Harlon pitched three shutout innings, allowed one hit and had three strikeouts.
For the Wildcats (5-1), Brandon Schell pitched six and one-third innings, allowed six hits, three runs, three walks and tallied 11 strikeouts.
Will Steinhauer had two RBIs and two hits (two doubles) for Halifax. Josh Zahurak had a triple, two hits and one RBI.
Juniata hosts UDA on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

Colts blank Huskies, 5-0
LEWISTOWN --- Mifflin County tennis dropped to 4-5 on the season as they lost to Cedar Cliff on Friday, 5-0.
In doubles play, Nick Wilson and Noah Gallo defeated Huskies Kamden Everly and Brice Rishel, 6-3, 6-3.
In singles action, Adam Hintze beat Husky Aidan Newlen, 6-1, 6-1.
The Huskies visit Hershey on Monday at 4 p.m.
