"We played them hard for the full 80 minutes and for that we are pleased. Our first half was strong against them, but an unfortunate offside call went in their favor to put them up 1-0 with nine minutes left in the half. As we got tired in the second half, they used our bad first touch against us. They won a ball off our bad touch and attacked the back side quickly five minutes into the half to go 2-0," Huskies assistant coach Todd Peters said.
"We created some chances after their second goal and thought we earned a clear PK (penalty kick), but didn't get the call. They added another goal from distance when we couldn't step to the ball and with 12:43 to go they made it 3-0. Another chance for us happened with a served ball that we challenged, that resulted in our player being injured and we didn't get a call late in the match. We like that our boys didn't quit and we reminded them to always bring that attitude on the pitch, but we must add to that clean first touches and a willingness to constantly step to the ball, hard."
