RALEIGH, N.C.-- Former Mifflin County wrestler and two-time PIAA state champion, Trent Hidlay, in his final season with NC State, improved his record to 22-0.
Hidlay beat Andy Smith of Virginia Tech, 18-3. The Wolfpack topped the Hokies, 20-12. NC State is now 16-2 on the season.
Hidlay tallied his 100th career win. The senior is a four-time NCAA All-American and three-time ACC Champion and currently ranked second in the nation at 197 pounds.
Next on the schedule is the ACC Championship in Chapel Hill on March 10.
