Midd-West boys dominate

MIDDLEBURG — Noah Romig and Nic Eppley combined to lead Midd-West past Shikellamy, 7-1, in a Heartland Conference boys soccer game Monday.

Romig and Eppley each scored two goals and each had an assist for the Mustangs.

Midd-West (13-1, 6-1) travels to Greenwood Wednesday.

MILLERSTOWN — East Juniata was defeated by Greenwood 4-0 in a Tri-Valley League boys soccer game Monday.

East Juniata travels to Midd-West Thursday.


Mount Union 3,

Williamsburg 0

MOUNT UNION — Mount Union defeated Williamsburg, 3-0, in an Inter-County Conference volleyball match Monday.

Kendra Gardner had four kills and four aces for the Trojans while Minerva Sheeder recorded nine digs and Chelsea Williams added 14 assists for the evening.

Mount Union (2-6, 2-5) travels to face West Branch today.

Girls soccer

Juniata 3, Fannett-Metal 0

WILLOW HILL — Three goals from three different players carried Juniata over Fannett-Metal, 3-0, in a nonleague girls soccer game Monday.

The Indians scored two goals in the first half before adding one more in the second half. Emma Pannebaker, Haley Mummah and Regan Lowery each scored a goal for the game.

Juniata hosts Mifflin County on Wednesday.
