Hidlays to host ‘Wrangle in the Wild’ wrestling event

Editor’s note: The start time of the “Wrangle in the Wild” was inadvertently omitted in Thursday’s paper. The event begins at 7 p.m.

LEWISTOWN–Mifflin County graduates and current NC State wrestlers Hayden and Trent Hidlay will be hosting a live wrestling event titled “Wrangle in the Wild” on Saturday, Aug. 7, at Body and Soul, at 7 p.m.

The event will feature two teams, Team Hayden and Team Trent, with both teams made up of current and former Mifflin County High School wrestlers. The Hidlay brothers will then wrestle each other in the main event of the evening. The match will cost $5 at the door and will also be streamed live on Rokfin.

The Hidlay brothers will be raffling off some of their gear with the proceeds going to Mifflin County Youth Wrestling.

The two brothers are also holding a wrestling clinic at Body and Soul on Aug. 2 from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for all Mifflin County elementary, junior high and varsity wrestlers.
