PORT ROYAL -- Lance Dewease and Anthony Macri were locked in a tight battle before Macri's caught a tough break, crashing into the wall. Macri's right rear tire flew off the car to end his day with five laps left in the annual Weikert Memorial Race at Port Royal Speedway.

Dewease came away with the victory with the All-Star Circuit of Champions in town, edging out Logan Wagner by 2.951 seconds, along with Tyler Courtney and Danny Dietrich in the 410 sprint car feature that paid $29,000 -- a race record for the annual event.

Hunter Schuerenberg, Rico Abreu, Blane Heimbach, Cory Eliason and Ian Madsen rounded out the Top 10.

Macri, Jeff Halligan, Michael Walter, and Dietrich each won heat races on the afternoon.

Gerard McIntyre won the B-Main, with Halligan, Walter and Justin Whittal each earning the Top 4 spots to transfer into the feature.

Dietrich was the night's hard charger, improving 13 spots from 17th to finish in fourth place.
