Hi, I am Julianna, a Juniata County Dairy Miss. I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing Christmas season. As we move into the new year, we need to remember to get our three servings of dairy every day. Did you know Jan. 11 was National Milk Day? This observes the first time milk was delivered to homes inside sterilized glass bottles. It wasn't until 1878 before anyone had the idea of storing milk in bottles and sealing with wax paper. What a great idea that started how we all can buy and store our milk today.

Who says ice cream is just for summer? I say you can have ice cream any time. A brownie sundae is a great way to get your three servings of dairy.
