Yes, how we vote matters The midterms will be crucial to our nation and its greatness. We must inform ourselves of candidates' positions on critical matters, not just vote on the party ticket. If we don't, we will lose our freedoms and our democracy. Let's see how the Democrats love America. Democrats are the party of open borders and defunding law enforcement. Every Democrat in Congress refused to fund the law enforcement and border security components of DHS. They refuse to fund the deportation of criminal illegal aliens, drug interdiction and border security as well as the agency that investigates drug smugglers and human traffickers and Border Patrol. The Democrat Socialists of America (a sub group of the Democrat party) national platform explicitly advocates phasing out prisons and abolishing ICE and national borders. Francesca Hong of Wisconsin told voters that she envisioned an ideal world "without prisons" and said, "it's about time we 86 Trump" (meaning kill him). Abdul El-Sayed of Michigan also has ties to prison abolition. Darializa Avila Chevalier of New York explicitly supports abolishing police, prisons, and borders. Zohran Mamdani, NYC mayor, questions the purpose of prisons and defends the abolitionist movement. Rep. Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib introduced the Breathe Act, calling for decarcerating, defunding federal prisons. Representatives Cortez, Omar, and Jayapal call for the elimination of ICE. In 2018 House Democrats introduced a bill titled the Establishing a Humane Immigration System Act proposing abolishing ICE within a year. A Democrat sponsored bill is advancing in Massachusetts creating 'permanent' 11 person Muslim commission and prioritizing Muslims for jobs in state government. The recently opened independent bookstore Bell Bird Books in Nashville canceled a book launch event for Jewish author because of online hostile, anti-Zionist commentary. On August 5, Senate Democrats boycotted a congressional hearing on the Muslim Brotherhood, an anti-Semitic group. Approximately 80% of Democrats have negative view of Israel; 100 House Democrats voted to cut off aid to Israel. A local Democrat recently called MAGA followers' bigots, silent serfs, and serfs; a congressman 'by name' a spineless serf; and our president 'a clearly prejudiced and ignorant man'. Others of his party spread hate calling MAGA followers fascists, Nazis, and President Trump Hitler and have attempted to assassinate him numerous times. In my opinion, we know who the bigots are! No Democrat voted for the big tax cut in the BBB, no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on social security for seniors, etc. Why? I believe they need the tax revenue to support the illegals once they open our borders again. Do your homework before voting.
