Thank you to ‘Twelve Days of Christmas Angels’
To the Editor:
I would like to thank the wonderful “Twelve Days of Christmas Angels.” Our family was chosen to enjoy such a great blessing for the holidays. Each night of the twelve days of Christmas, we had a package anonymously delivered to our front door. The gifts correlated to the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas” and were so very delightful and thoughtful. This tremendous act of kindness not only made the holiday more enjoyable for me, but also made our entire family look forward to what was coming next. When great-grandchildren stopped in, they would listen to me read the message that went with each day’s package and share in the goodies that were provided. This particular holiday season was so much more bearable with everything that the Christmas angels did. It was so very great and hugely appreciated.
Sincerely,
The Laub Family
Trump’s strategic move on Venezuela
To the Editor:
According to AtlasWorldNews.com, everyone is arguing about President Trump’s move on Venezuela. In truth, it’s not about drugs, not about terror, not about oil, at least not the way people think. People are missing the point. Venezuela sits on the largest oil reserves on Earth, with over 300 billion barrels worth over $17 trillion. But here is the twist. The United States doesn’t need that oil, China does. China buys nearly 90% of Venezuela’s crude and almost all of Iran’s oil and a massive share of Russia’s export. Trump understood something most leaders ignore. Power doesn’t come from owning the oil but from controlling who gets it. Destabilize Venezuela, pressure Iran at the same time and China suddenly loses almost 70% of its non-US-regulated oil supply, no fuel for a Taiwan war, no oil for AI dominance, no BRICS currency replacing the dollar, no shots fired, no war declared, just leverage. As Marco Rubio put it, “we don’t need Venezuelan oil, but we will not allow this hemisphere’s energy to be controlled by America’s adversaries. This isn’t chaos, this isn’t luck. This is Trump playing the long game, outthinking rivals, reshaping alliances and winning without asking permission. That’s not recklessness, that’s strategy.”
I believe this shows that President Trump is playing the long game and shaping global power by using energy leverage, not declaring war, not losing a single person, but putting America first, protecting our people and our Democracy.
