Supporting Wolfkiel for tax collector

I’m writing to share my support for Christine Wolfkiel as Tax Collector for Burnham Borough. I’ve known her my entire life, and I truly can’t think of a better person for the job. I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most hard-working, honest, and intelligent people I know. She worked in the court system in a fast paced, high pressure administrative role– and she handled it all with the kind of reliability, grace, and attention to detail that’s rare to come by. She is one of the most honest, hard-working, and intelligent people I know, and has always gone above and beyond in everything she does. Her experience speaks for itself, and it’s exactly the kind of background that makes her exceptionally well-qualified to take on the duties of Tax Collector.This position requires someone who’s organized, trustworthy, and committed to serving the community–and that’s Christine to a T. Burnham Borough would be lucky to have her in this role, and I hope you’ll join me in supporting her.

Endorsing Miles for District Judge

To the Editor:

I endorse John Miles for District Judge 58-3-02. I’ve known John for over 20 years and during this time he has always been a public servant with the upmost integrity. He has proven himself time and time again in all avenues of his life. From his years of service in the Army as a combat medic to his lifetime of dedication in Emergency Medical Services. For over 40 years he has been helping save people and make their lives better. He has been training EMTs, hospital employees, firefighters and law enforcement on critical life saving techniques for decades.

He has raised his family in Mifflin County and been involved in many other areas of the community including being the treasurer of the Husky football boosters. Anyone who has ever volunteered as a treasurer in any large organization knows what a thankless job it can be, and he does it with pride and the upmost integrity.

He has over 20 years’ experience in local law enforcement most recently promoted to the position of Sergeant with the Mifflin County Regional. John takes tremendous pride in his policing responsibilities. Being a friend of this man has been a positive influence on my life. I strongly encourage you to vote John Miles for District Judge. You will get a man with a background in public safety, crime prevention and most importantly a levelheaded fair decision maker.
