Turn off the TV and go outside
To the Editor:
It's a bad time for casual TV viewing. The ads keep showing crowds of illegals raping and pillaging across the country. If we don't agree, we hate you and want you in jail. Politicians forcing fentanyl down our throats. Drag queens in the bathroom. Some say we're a third-world country full of stupid people. Darkness.
Turn off the TV and go outside. We live in the most beautiful country in the world. We have the strongest economy in the world. Wall Street is booming. Wages have never been higher and jobs have never been more plentiful. America is the undisputed leader of the world. NATO is standing strong against the tyranny of Russia. Our rivals in the world were not able to recover from the pandemic like we were. We came roaring back. Americans live like kings compared to the rest of the world. Why do so many people want to be Americans?
Come on, be proud of our country! This isn't midnight. As Ronald Reagan said, this is morning in America!
