All politicians lie with a smile
To the Editor:
I can't take it anymore! The amount and quality of Democratic lies since Biden bowed out is setting new records. Sen. Casey's claims of all he did for border security are so laughable my sides hurt.
Biden named a border czar (Kamala Harris) who I don't think could find the border on a map. She was questioned at one point why she had not been to her assignment at the Mexican border and replied, "I haven't been to Europe either." WHAT!?
Who in their right mind could vote for two complete failures with no substantive evidence to base their border victories on? Deflection and unabashed hypocrisy are their legacy. They are the pinnacle of professional politicians, as was Joe Biden, with his two degrees at the top of his class, and he dares to state on National TV that he does not lie!
All politicians lie while kissing babies. At least pick one who can recognize a problem and is willing to do something about it without attaching a wish list to the legislation and pointing to the opposition saying it's your fault when it fails because of that wish list.
We have a chance to correct our nation's course. Vote responsibly for candidates who have some common sense, know how to get things done, and have been to the border and Europe.
