National political candidates are joke
To the Editor:
I read a lot of letters to the Editor about politics in the past. But, my thoughts are this, back when Clinton was in office the Republicans tried to impeach him. But, they know they didn't have the votes to do it. But still they wasted tax dollars and time, doing it anyway. Then along comes Trump. Democrats did the same thing. They didn't have enough votes. Then they sit in D.C and wonder why this country is divided.
I wish they would once, before they vote on something, ask themselves, "How is this going to affect the people that put me here?" I very seldom miss an election, but it's been sometime since I voted for a national office, mostly local offices.
I just wish they would give us better candidates to vote for. Both parties are a joke. Neither one really cares about what is going on.
All they want is your money. After Jan. 6, I gave up on both parties and registered as an Independent. That's just how I feel.
