Anti-semitism is not the answer to stopping Hamas
To the Editor:
I am totally perplexed. How is it that innocent people, in the comfort of their homes and in the company of their families were attacked, murdered and butchered yet somehow, they are labeled with disdain.
I can only assume some have been educated to be ignorant.
Hamas created the atmosphere of terrorism upon the Jewish people with the goal of removing all of the Jews from the "river to the sea."
They claimed to be the protectors of the Palestine people. But that obviously has been a lie, no different than the propaganda lies of the Nazis.
They blame the Israelis for their ills when in fact the Israelis left Gaza quite some time ago so that they could govern themselves. And who did the Palestinians choose to govern them?
Hamas, a terrorist group under the supportive banner of Iran.
Yes, some innocent Palestinians, and so too will Israelis, die during a war that was imposed upon Israel, but those same Palestinian people have often given open support to the Hamas terrorists. And, for them to point the finger of guilt at the Jewish people instead of looking in the mirror is a claim of absurdity.
I have no idea the mindset of those protesting in support of Hamas. Might they have supported the Nazi's and asked for a ceasefire when it appeared those terrorists were about to be defeated?
Would they have given aid and comfort to the enemy and supplied them with goods intended for the innocents but used to sustain the Nazi regime? As I see it, the analogy is credible.
The only people who have the right to ask for a ceasefire are those who had war imposed upon them. The villains have no say in a "stop and go" effort on the battlefield, a battlefield they chose to fight from the tunnels under their Mosques, schools and hospitals.
Hamas chose the arena of war, and that is where it will be fought. And, it will hopefully end in a successful effort to destroy the cancer of Hamas.
There are two options for a people that initiate a war; they can either surrender or die. That was the outcome of the Nazis and should also be the same for the Hamas terrorists.
