Carnival shares thanks
To the editor:
The Fayette Community Carnival Committee wishes to express our sincere gratitude to everyone in the community and beyond who offered time, talent and resources to make the carnival successful for another year.
The committee acknowledges Fayette Township Board of Supervisors, businesses, custodians, groundskeepers, the emcee, the money courier, nightly entertainers, their special events committee (car show, parade, chicken barbecue, corn hole), firemen's Chinese auction, food stand vendors, other vendors, main stand workers, paddle wheel providers/workers, flower contributors, decorators, media, Bartlebaugh Amusements, Skyshooter Fireworks, veterans, Pennsylvania State Police, grand marshals, the Pennsylvania secretary of agriculture, the Juniata County representative's secretary, the sheriff, firemen, ambulance personnel, police, parade participants, parade judges, Rickenbaugh Building Supply, and Juniata Christian School.
We thank the McAlisterville Ministerium and the area churches for sponsoring Jeremey Goodling and family for the community-wide worship service. Committee members add thanks to the McAlisterville Ministerium for providing an ice cream social after the worship service.
We also wish to thank all the participating churches who provided meals daily to the much-appreciated Bartlebaugh Amusement Workers.
Finally, we thank our heavenly Father who blessed our carnival with beautiful weather throughout carnival week, and you, the public, who supported the carnival and parade with your attendance.
