"Misinformation
vs Freedom"
To the Editor:
Does anyone care that freedom of the press now means freedom to not print or report on a subject of importance! It is not about the truth anymore. It is about whose side you are on. It now means you're free to embellish and condemn one story, while at the same time ignoring and trivializing another of even greater significance!
This is a third world playbook tactic. Couple this with corruption of our Justice Department and we are about to face the implosion of freedom!
Without all facts and truthfulness, no one will be able to make informed decisions. We no longer have a source for truth. It has died as technology has grown into a misinformation spigot for every person with a phone.
We are being played for fools! If you like the way things are going in the media (social and major), you are a first rate fool. Put your faith in a corrupt system and you will receive corruption!
Red or Blue will not matter if we don't regain integrity in major media. It is the only tool (when used properly with truth) that can turn off the spigot of misinformation!
