To the Editor:
On Friday, June 30, our boys soccer team held a car wash and bake sale fundraiser at the Advance Auto Parts on West Fourth street in Lewistown. We first want to thank the management and staff of Advance for letting us use their facility, materials and their support.
We also want to thank the community members that came to support our boys team as they worked to wash vehicles and their kind words to us all in our efforts on and off the soccer pitch. We will continue to work hard as a Mifflin County Huskies Boys Soccer team.
We have a great team of players and parents/guardians that made this possible and we want to thank them immensely. With their baking touches to scrubs of a sponge by their son(s). Thank you all as we continue to climb the ladder for success.
