Two Ideas
To the Editor:
Now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe V. Wade, perhaps it would be a good idea to start birth-adoption centers to replace abortion clinics.
The federal government spends almost one trillion a year for guns, ammo, tanks, bombs, ships, planes, weapons of mass destruction, etc. for national defense and military personnel.
Free public education is available to students in kindergarten through high school in most states, but learning takes place throughout life.
Perhaps free education should be available from birth through life. Society would benefit from better educated citizens, and it would pay for itself from increased tax revenue and less tax spent for law enforcement.
