Kudos for Support of MiffCo Community Tennis
In a recent article in the Sentinel covering MiffCo Community Tennis, we have a fourth Youth Tennis Coach I failed to mention. His name is Gino Zannino. Gino is a Mifflin County High School Boys Tennis Team Player. In 2022, he was involved with the Locust Grove Mega Sports Vacation Bible School as one of the tennis coaches and assisted in a tennis program delivered during one of the YMCA's summer camps. Gino has been very faithful in delivering lessons according to the USTA Tennis 101 program which emphasizes teaching with kids' sized racquets, nets, balls and courts, giving each child a feeling of confidence and success. We emphasize fun and teamwork as each child learns to love and enjoy the game. Mifflin County needs more youth like Gino involved in our program for kids.
Kudos go out also to the many tennis programs throughout Central Pennsylvania with which we have networked. These programs and facilities have shown their support by donations of materials for Kid Connection projects, moral support in general, and even some financial support. We would like to thank the following:
