The clown show continues
To the editor,
At what point will the clown show of right wing propaganda get so absurd that you people following it recognize how insultingly stupid they expect you to be? I pride myself on consuming mass quantities of media (a behavior I don't recommend replicating) and lately it has become so painful to dumb myself down to understand how any of this makes any sense. I am insulted by what these people expect me to believe and I can not understand how you MAGA evangelist can bend your brains to the warped position of placing the Biden and Trump document saga as equal. No person with three active brain cells would find these situations as in any way equivalent.
Trump actively, willingly and boastfully took countless documents to his pay-for-play club that has had numerous spies found having the time of their lives. The other has a team of people actively searching and immediately returning anything that does not belong to him. One is obstructing the law, the other is upholding the law.
On one side of the aisle, we have a group of people calling to bring it on, investigate. Call anyone you would like to testify, we'll show up and we will answer the questions! Juxtaposed that to the right side -- defy subpoenas, plead the fifth, and whine about witch hunts and hoaxes. How many times can you hear the same excuse that what you see, with your own eyes, is a hoax before your brain clicks and thinks "hummm, can there really be that many hoaxes pulled on one person that is supposedly so smart?"
As far as witch huts go, I have never seen so many witches in all my days! Everyone around the disgraced, twice impeached, ex-president seems to get investigated and sent to jail. How much fraud needs to swirl around this man till you open your eyes to who he is? Bank fraud, tax fraud, insurance fraud, fraudulent university, fraudulent charity, fraudulent wall scheme, fraudulent electors...
Let me see if I can boil this down a bit. If you believe that you are getting the lowest price ever on your pillow, rethink your life! The entire world has been told, for the past 10 years, that with this promo code, you will get the lowest price ever. Ten years is a long "ever!"
And please, someone tell me how it is that your brains don't snap with disbelief when you watch 15 minutes of random wack-jobs complaining about the indoctrination of children only to be followed by Mike Huckabee advertising his latest "Kid's Guide to Blah Blah!" Trump, fighting socialism, Christmas (with lots of pictures of round, white faced Jesus, Joseph and Mary) are just a few of the indoctrinated topics generating money for the grifter Huckabees.
The richest thing from this past week has to be, watching Matt Gates interviewing George Santos on Steve Bannon's podcast, "The War Room," admitting that if Republican lawmakers were expelled for lying, they could not form a quorum. What more do you need to hear? Lying fools telling you they lie to you! And what, your brain is like, yeah, these are the people that deserve my vote for the sole reason that they have an R next to their name.
