Questioning GOP

politics

To the editor:

I have been saying it for quite some time and now it is on full display. If you accept that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, then whatever it is that the GOP is calling themselves these days is undeniably, indisputably, visibly insane!

How many times do you people need to fail at a vote until you realize what you are repeatedly doing is not working? At the time of my writing this, we have had nine votes ending nearly identically and yet what do Republicans do... let's just do it all again! We are watching inanity.

It is embarrassing (and also comical) to see how once again Republicans can not form a government. We had four years of acting administrators, acting secretaries, and firings of "the finest people." And here we are again with this bunch of yahoos completely unable to do the people's work. Let's not forget that we also had four years of "infrastructure week" and "a big beautiful health care plan coming in two weeks."

I have not even finished this letter and a tenth failed vote. Pathetic.

Though you may have always voted for the people with an "R" next to their name, I think it is time to decide if you want insanity, or if it might not be time to see your party for what it is and recognize that all they stand for is theatrics, grandstanding, and getting nothing done.
