To the editor,
Kevin Zook brings to light all anyone needs to know about whatever the GOP has become. To find it delicious that 20 people can stop the government is everything you need to know about these people. The few want control over the many!
I will say that I too thought it was delicious to watch, but for a much different reason. Watching the reality of this party turning itself into a feckless body of unethical, lying morons was some of the best comedy I have seen in quite some time. I can't think of the last time I saw so many idiots, say so many stupid thing, in such a short time, in one
location. Hilarious!
Click bait and fundraising, memes and tweets, soundbites on TV or the pod casts of criminals (Steve Bannon's War Room, just to name one) is what the likes of Mr. Zook have decided is good governance. Because, according to this cult, 20 people represent the majority. Sorry to inform you, that is not how reality works!
These people ran on the platform of reducing inflation and gas prices, fighting the defunding of the police and woke'ism (whatever the heck that is) and what are the first things they do? Defund the police of the rich! How stupid do you have to be to think that going after tax cheats is going to affect you? Oh, yeah, only if YOU ARE CHEATING ON YOUR TAXES! So who is against IRS agents... the tax cheats that made it there first priority to defund them!!!! That is, of course, after gutting the ethics committee.
The next two years will apparently be enjoyable to watch for both the left and the right, but for entirely different reasons. While the right will take delight in the shutting down of government (thus denying millions of Americans paychecks and defunding all federal law enforcement) the left will be laughing themselves into power as the farce of the GOP collapses.
