To the editor:
I believe the current federal administration is trying hard to shift this country far from our founding principles.
The mainstream media cries national security concerns when Donald Trump's name comes up, but not when our current president's open border policy allows terrorists, drug traffickers, human traffickers and a completely unmanageable number of possibly really nice people to invade our country.
The resulting chaos has nothing to do with compassion for immigrants or the American people. It is a Marxist coup designed to undermine our God-given, Constitutional freedoms. As we continue down this path, quality of life degrades. Creating misery for the masses is of no consequence to those in power who strive only to enrich themselves by selling us out to the highest bidders.
Hatred and division by way of class and race warfare are the means to their end.
I am an admitted radical right-winger. Right wing, since I am a conservative libertarian. Radical, in that I am a Christian who loves my enemies. I believe God in the flesh died for their sins just as he did mine.
While I have nothing against radical liberals personally, they are nonetheless my political enemies. I do respect their right to speak freely about their totalitarian views. When they resort to bricks, Molotov cocktails and violence against police is when they transition from political enemies to mortal enemies. I pray for them and hope they turn from these tactics.
Leftists have always tried to project their own hatred and intolerance onto Conservatives. However, it is they who are the most vicious, judgmental, intolerant haters among us. They shout down and cancel any opposition to their toxic groupthink. So much for COEXISTing.
