In a recent Sentinel was a column by Judge Napolitano that I found total ridiculous for his statement that those coming across the border illegally are somehow legal immigrants. Since when is trespassing legal? And the person who called in praising Judge Napolitano's article must be taking woke pills.
If someone breaks into my home they are not by any legal standard entitled to do so. They are without doubt committing an ILLEGAL ACT. How is that different than someone sneaking into my country.
The two governors that are sending those trespassers to other states are doing the only choice left to them because of the radical policies of the leftists in Washington.
Of course the elitists in Martha's Vineyard do not want anything to do with those so-called immigrants they supported through sanctuary policies in other states and cities. "Not in my town" seems to be the claimed exception for them. Get the army in here and get these people out was their plea. What hypocrites!
We need to speak logically, not with the goody, goody mindset of those who think utopia is around the corner if only we listened to and welcomed their socialist banter.
Thankfully there are responders like Mr. Spahr and Mr. Sellers who offer strong arguments in the defense of this nation. A nation founded not by selfish men but those who risked life and property so that we might live free and protected by a constitution declaring our God given rights, giving the government very limited allowances. I often wonder how that declaration made a U-turn.
