This is a reply to Joan Loewen's July 27 letter to the editor.
Anyone who does not know where government money comes from and doesn't know the effects of devalued money should not make statements of its distribution.
Our country's current situation of high inflation stems directly from the very source you advocate. Trillions of dollars were dumped into our laps with absolutely nothing behind it to value the printed paper.
That magic money did nothing but devalue the dollar. And you want to keep doing it! Aren't you paying enough for groceries yet? This money will hurt everyone.
Money does not grow on trees, it comes out of a machine at the mint that all political parties turn on much too often. Thank any politician who says no to destroying our economy. Elect more of them.
I say no to liberal Democrats and their destructive policies. Run away from them as fast as you can. They can't count, they can't reason and they have no common sense. They make problems then want patted on the back when they say they are saving you from the very problem they created.
When you were little and got hurt, or had your feelings hurt, what did you hear? (1) Ahhh, you poor baby, let me make it feel better; (2) You're okay, get up and walk it off; or (3) I'll give you something to cry about.
America has been hurt. Liberal Democrats want a (1). The rest of us know a (2) or (3) is best for us.
