Can’t see the forest for the trees

3 min read

To the editor:

It is nice when a conservative stirs a liberal to the point where the liberal shows how shallow he is.

Many of our country's liberal Democrats seem to always accuse conservatives of being easily influenced souls who cannot think for themselves. A response to my previous letter accused me of that by saying that I was "suffering confirmation bias."

Isn't it amazing that he just addressed Nikita Khrushchev's supposed or maybe make believe speech and ignored the rest of the letter?

Did he read the remainder of the letter? If he did, he did not digest the nine levels of control that socialistic governments enforce.

I would hope that anybody who can see that there are "trees in a forest" would have digested the importance of those nine forces already in play in the United States.

Many liberals Democrats refuse to accept accurate evidence when presented and then still religiously support their failing Democratic party's policies. Their support for the Democratic party is totally controlled by "unconfirming" bias (lack of authentication). If liberals would objectively look at certain issues' counterpoints and information without the unconfirming bias (authentication), more common sense and knowledge would hopefully be utilized to make a decision at the ballot box.

Some examples of the liberal democrats' unconfirming bias are:

1. President Trump's so-called involvement with Russia during the 2016 presidential election. Democratic party and media misinformation.

2. President Trump's so-called illegal dealings with Ukraine. Democratic party and media misinformation.

3. Hunter Biden and his family's, Joe included, business dealings with China and Russia. Democratic party and media misinformation. This is the big one -- based on a poll taken of Democratic voters shortly after the 2020 election, 30% of American voters who voted for Biden would not have voted for him if they would have been informed of this story accurately. If this would have been accurately reported, President Trump would have won in a landslide. As a result of Biden supposedly winning the election, we Americans are experiencing some of the worst social, economic, and political conditions ever witnessed in the US.

4. The So-called recent outlawing of abortion. Democratic party and media misinformation. The Supreme Court did not make abortion illegal, it sent it back to each state to let the people of each state decide its fate. Let the people speak.

5. Our high gas prices are a direct result of Putin's War. Democratic party and media misinformation.

6. Inflation, presently 8.5%, went down .5% in July from 9%, so inflation is 0 now. Ha!

There are many more examples which I could point out but this would turn into a 300 page book. For the future stability of our country, I hope that all American voters become more inquisitive and curious about our country's political issues. If we continue to have voters utilize "unconfirming bias (lack of authentication)" when voting, this country's future is on a slippery slope.
