To the editor:
With all this hype from the left in this country and around the world about man-made global warming and green energy, I want to let any reasonable thinking people know what is really happening.
The Earth has been warmer in the past than what it is now and when it was, the Earth's population was a lot smaller. Also at that time, no one was driving around in SUVs, big pickup trucks and burning a lot of gasoline or diesel fuel. As a matter of fact, there were no coal-fired power plants making electricity either. Who gets to determine what the ideal temperature is for the world and what do they base it on anyway?
If the prediction made by Al Gore more than 30 years ago would have come to pass, the Statue of Liberty would be half under water by now. Did you ever wonder how these people that hold themselves up to be such experts can be so wrong? Or could it be that they are just trying to scare people soe they can get rich selling carbon credits to others from companies they own?
If you want to read up on the real science about climate change, I suggest reading "Hot Talk Cold Science" by S. Fred Singer and cut through the "bull"ony.
And if you want to prepare yourself for some real heat, read "The End of the Age" by Pastor John Hagee. He has the real story of what is going to happen to the Earth.
